Buyer’s Home Inspections.
The most common of all the inspections that we are asked to complete, a buyer's home inspection is conducted as part of a real estate purchase. It is conducted to standards published by the Texas Real Estate Commission on a specific form. The goal of the inspection is to provide a report of all observable issues found in a home. This inspection is intended to provide status information so that the buyer can make a more informed decision. It covers all structural and mechanical systems normally found in a home, including: grading, drainage, foundation, walls, floors, ceilings, windows, fireplace, stairs, balconies, porches, electrical panels, distribution wiring, electrical fixtures, water pipes, drainage pipes, plumbing fixtures, bathing enclosures, heat, air, ducts, fixed kitchen appliances, the garage and the attic. Here are the TREC Standards.
Critically, a second purpose of this inspection is education. As part of our home inspections, TIP personal bring the buyer along with them as they inspect the home. This allows the buyer to understand the house. You can ask any questions and learn about your home from an experienced professional. Everything that you purchase comes with an owner's manual, except your house. A professional home inspector can inform and educate like no one else. You will have a whole new level of understand of your home by the time this inspection is completed. |
