His considers education to be his calling in life.  Lack of information can be expensive in many areas of life.  Glenn considers educating home owners to be a very important issue.  He writes, blogs and teaches whenever the opportunity arises.

Tom Wyka, TREC 4584 dba Homeworks Inspections
Tom has been an independent home inspector since he retired from the FAA in 1999.  He has conducted over 2500 inspections.  He enjoys helping seasoned citizens and first time home buyers.  Tom served in the US Navy where he acted as an air intercept controller.  He was very amused when the FAA called him and offered him a job after he let the Navy.  As he tells it, he was more familiar with running planes into each other, not keeping them separated.  Thankfully he made the conversion and worked his way up to running the Houston Sector.  More than anything, this experience has given Tom outstanding diplomatic skills and a wry sense of humor.

Dave Smith, TREC 5230 - dba A Homes Best Friend
David has been a pest control Certified Applicator for 30 years.  He has built and managed his own company serving all of North Houston and Spring.  Dave became a home inspector in 2000 and has conducted over 2200 inspections.  David is a Reserve Navy NCO and was called up during the 1st Gulf War.  David owns and operates A Homes Best Friend and is our senior partner in charge of all Pest Control Operations.  David also has a particular affinity for assisting our seasoned citizens in maintaining their independence, in their own homes.

Mike Elmore, TREC 6514 - dba HomePros Inspections
Mike served in the Army for 4 years and accomplished the unusual feat of becoming a Sergeant during his first enlistment.  After leaving the Army, Mike became and electrician and eventually became a home inspector in 2002.  He has extensive experience working with Municipal Utility Districts on plumbing projects and has conducted HUD and catastrophe inspections.  He is a Certified Applicator licensed by TDA and conducts his own Termite inspections.  Mike is fluent in Spanish.  He enjoys helping first time home buyers and mentoring young inspectors.

Choosing an Inspector
Finding a home inspector is not really a

Preparing for an Inspector
Let’s face it, home inspections would

be shorter and less painful for all

parties if the seller was really ready
